Cheap Shots Photography | Denver, Colorado.

Bev Saidel has been looking through the lens of a camera for most of her life. She began shooting film as an avid hobby, which quickly became a part-time profession while working for a marketing company in Southern California. Shortly thereafter, she began to learn the craft of stage photography that involves the intricacy of working with stage lighting and dramatic portraiture.

After a hiatus of about ten years, Bev returned to photography in earnest and started her own company, Cheap Shots Photography. She has a large portfolio that consists of a variety of images from all over the world including Canada, Mexico and Australia. Although not specifically a “western” photographer, many of Bev’s images were shot in Colorado, Wyoming, California, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. She has also photographed scenes in Florida and Massachusetts.

Because Bev holds a great interest in her surroundings, her work includes a wide variety of images – such as landscapes featuring the long view, close-up shots of flowers, wide panoramas, and sunsets. In addition, Bev works with the individual creating intimate portraits that are evocative and showcase the person’s style and persona.

An all-round photographer, Bev lends her many talents to Cheap Shots photography by providing not only individual images, but by photographing events and notables. Her clients include the Center for International Studies, Meadow Gold Dairy, and Executive Women International – Denver Chapter amongst others.

Bev also teaches three online photography classes – The Fundamentals, Intermediate and Advanced courses that provide a unique look at how the individual can approach photography utilizing simple techniques.

To her credit, she has served as the staff photographer for Executive Women International – Denver Chapter and has provided photographic services to Meadow Gold Dairies, Bolling and Associates, The Colorado Division of Wildlife, The Colorado Lottery and the Colorado Women’s Chamber.

Her work can be viewed by appointment or at four independently produced shows per year. Please contact Bev at 303-331-9932 or e-mail saico1@hotmail.com for more information.
